MADabolic, the first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, announces its newest gym will open in Alexandria, Virginia at 704 North Washington Street. The location will operate under multiunit owner Corbin Jennings.
The Alexandria location is situated in north Old Town and is the fourth of nine total units Jennings has in the works to span the greater Washington, D.C. metro area, following the existing Arlington and H Street studios, and the recently signed Dupont Circle location.
“For as saturated as pockets of the D.C. fitness market can be, it’s a genuine rarity to go to a studio with highly knowledgeable trainers who actually correct form,” said Jennings of the role this expansion brings to the DMV. “MADabolic’s top-notch programming and investment in high-quality trainers ultimately means clients are able to move more weight safely, which results in greater strength gains, and keeps our retention rates high.”
One highlight of Jennings’ ownership journey has been the growth and development of his training team. “We’ve had really high retention of trainers, and one of the biggest rewards is watching them grow and become true experts in the field,” shared Jennings, “Our trainers’ knowledge trickles down to our clients, and overall we end up with a base of people who move really well and love what MADabolic offers.”
“While his background in economics and marketing are helpful skills in business, it is his tenacity around culture and professionalism that make Corbin a successful entrepreneur and a great franchise partner,” said Brandon Cullen, MADabolic Co-Founder and CEO, “Corbin is a grinder who is consistently challenging the status quo. A natural leader and a great resource for current and future franchisees.”
The Alexandria location’s doors are expected to open late this year and will meet the growing demand of the region’s demographic shifts amid Amazon’s HQ2 expansion.
