Daily Jam President Berekk Blackwell was recently featured in an article with Business Insider that shared more about restaurant brands with ghost kitchens and how they’ve kept operations running smoothly while staying competitive on delivery apps.
Ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daily Jam created two new concepts, Mindful Bowls and CinnaSwirl, which operate out of Daily Jam’s kitchen. Blackwell shares that as a brunch concept, the kitchen can sit vacant for 16 hours each day. “To better utilize that space, we decided to open a ghost kitchen.” Since opening the ghost kitchen, Daily has been better equipped to navigate the pandemic and support the team and the community.
