Popular Boxing-Inspired Fitness Studio Signs Lease at The Bel Air Town Center for First Maryland Location
Jabz Boxing announced today that two local entrepreneurs have initialed a lease agreement for a new location in Bel Air, Maryland in the heart of Harford County’s retail and commercial corridor. The boxing-inspired, circuit-style workout studio will open at The Bel Air Town Center, 520 Baltimore Pike, a shopping and dining destination that features national and local retailers alike.
Wife and husband duo, Helen and Larry O’Keefe, are spearheading the new studio’s operations. Prior to joining the Jabz Boxing family, Helen spent nearly two decades teaching high school history while Larry worked in various sales and human resource positions. With their combined experience and passion for fitness and healthy living, they are looking forward to introducing Jabz Boxing to their neighbors in Bel Air.
“My husband and I have always pursued a healthy lifestyle, so when looking for business opportunities, we wanted something that aligned with our personal values,” said Helen. “When we discovered Jabz, we immediately knew it was the right investment for our family. We are thrilled to help empower our community through fitness and offer a functional training method that delivers measurable results.”
Jabz Boxing delivers unparalleled classes led by nationally-certified coaches in a supportive and community-driven environment. With the tagline “Come as you are, leave stronger,” Jabz inspires individuals from all backgrounds and at all fitness levels to step in to the ring.
“Helen and Larry immediately struck our team as the perfect couple to introduce Jabz Boxing to Maryland with their enthusiasm for fitness and intimate knowledge of Bel Air,” said Danielle Scott, Jabz Boxing Brand President. “They have the passion it takes to empower the community to take ownership of their health, and the knowledge and experience to run a successful business. We look forward to growing with them in Harford county.”
Unlike other boxing gyms, Jabz’s focus is on developing fitness, not fighters. The brand’s signature workouts combine boxing-inspired exercises with cardio, plyometrics and functional training movements designed to push clients to their limits and deliver maximum results.
The signed lease in Bel Air marks Jabz Boxing’s first location in Maryland.
