MADabolic, the franchise leaders in barbell-free strength and conditioning, is pleased to announce that a new agreement has been signed to bring two units to Cincinnati, under owner/operators, Kevin Arnold, Brad Kenney, and Shannon Reilly.
Brad and Shannon boast athletic backgrounds with Brad playing competitive basketball and Shannon’s history as an avid lacrosse and field hockey player. They found MADabolic in Charlotte, NC, where they started as members and were drawn to the brand’s focus on aging athletically. “It can resonate with any fitness background – from a novice to a competitive athlete,” says Brad.
Meanwhile, Kevin has always had a passion for fitness. He had been looking for ways to spend more time in the industry and has thus been an active listener of Stu Brauer’s podcast, “WTF Gym Talk,” where he encountered numerous MADabolic interviews with the founder and various owners. A Cincinnati native turned Charlotte local, Kevin was able to see MADabolic headquarters and experience the workout firsthand. He was immediately impressed with the engaging and approachable nature of the brand’s strength-first program.
When evaluating what exactly makes MADabolic stand out against the competition in Cincinnati, the trio is confident in the unique take that MADabolic will bring to the market. “The strength-based intervals and one-on-one coaching environment that MAD has created is unrivaled in group fitness,” says Shannon. “The quality and longevity of the barbell-free strength and conditioning approach is flawless…the program is so well structured, it creates a simple and approachable access point to meaningful strength training in the Cincinnati market…there’s nothing else like it,” adds Brad.
Kevin agrees on all fronts and makes note of the business model’s scalability and hands-on support that franchisees receive from the corporate team. “As a finance person, it’s easy to see how promising the financial upside is. The business model just makes sense and offers a straightforward path to healthy profit.”
“We’re very excited to establish our presence in Ohio through this ownership group,” says Al Mendoza, Chief Development Officer. “Their professional and athletic backgrounds in tandem with their exposure to and grasp on the MADabolic brand will prime their success in Cincinnati.”
