MADABOLIC ANNOUNCES TWO NEW UNITS IN MADISON, WI

In MADabolic, News by Al Mendoza

MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, is pleased to announce that a new agreement has been signed to bring the concept to Madison, Wisconsin. Owned and operated by Adam and Heather Lane, this agreement will ultimately land two units in the Madison market.

Adam and Heather are both teachers by trade, and entered the sports performance world through a background in coaching cross country, track and field, and basketball. When they introduced weight training into – specifically – their track and field athletes’ regimen, Adam’s passion for strength training flourished and ultimately led him to leave public education and open his own strength and conditioning gym, which he continues to operate today in Rockford, IL with tremendous success.

Adam initially crossed paths with MADabolic’s co-founders, Brandon Cullen and Kirk DeWaele, at WTF Gym Talk’s Self Made Summit in 2019, where the duo appeared as keynote speakers. From there, he continued to learn more through Stu Brauer – WTF Gym Talk’s founder – who has been a strong advocate for the MADabolic franchising opportunity. “The concept is gorgeous,” comments Adam. “Truly…the beauty behind its simplicity made the opportunity extremely attractive, and it became immediately evident how scalable it is. Traveling to headquarters and experiencing the structure and support provided by an impressive and skilled corporate team sealed the deal. I have complete confidence in being able to run the MADabolic playbook for success.”

When it comes to introducing the concept to Madison, Adam sees endless opportunity for success. “It’s a highly active community, particularly with endurance sports, and I’m excited to bring an intelligent training program to that market,” says Adam.

Al Mendoza, Chief Development Officer, sees the partnership with Adam and Heather as a slam dunk. “They just get it,” he says. “Their background in not just business ownership, but in fitness business ownership, gives them a leg up. Couple that with the passion for and buy-in to the brand that they’ve already demonstrated, and we’re teed up for a highly successful multi-unit ownership group to bust through the Madison market.”

MADabolic, rooted in strength, structure, and accountability, now has 104 studios operating or in development across the country. From a top-notch strength-biased training program to robust operating systems designed to help owners thrive to a team of experts behind the brand, MADabolic provides franchise owners with a blueprint for success in any market.
