MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, opened the doors to its newest studio in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Located at 2106 14th Street NW, MADabolic 14th Street is part of a broader expansion effort as owner Corbin Jennings develops MADabolic’s presence across the DMV.
Situated at the intersection of 14th and V Streets, MADabolic 14th Street offers a new take on strength-biased training to the neighborhood. The brand’s distinctive training protocol is crafted entirely around work-to-rest ratios. This presents a challenging-yet-accessible environment uniquely scalable to each client. Trainers are taught to prioritize pace management and safe movement patterns, which, in turn, delivers progressive strength gains.
“14th Street is the holy grail of fitness in D.C.,” shared Corbin, who opened his first MADabolic studio in Clarendon (Arlington, VA) in 2016. “Many of the city’s most successful fitness studios are located in this neighborhood, but the one thing that’s missing is a true strength-driven training program. That’s our bread and butter, and we’re excited to make a name for ourselves in this neighborhood in a big way.”
“D.C. has been a strong market for MADabolic, and Corbin has been a leader within the MADabolic franchise system for his thoughtful execution in scaling his operations,” said Rick Del Sontro, President of MADabolic. “Corbin and his team have repeatedly demonstrated that they are committed to providing a best-in-class experience for their clients, and we’re proud to see MADabolic continue to grow in this city.”
MADabolic 14th Street marks the brand’s fifth of nine studios Corbin will open in the DMV. Following his original Arlington studio, Corbin opened MADabolic H Street in 2019, followed by MADabolic Alexandria and MADabolic Dupont, the brand’s only gym with two training floors, in December 2021. Earlier this year, Corbin signed an agreement to bring 12 MADabolic locations to the greater Phoenix area and partnered with MADabolic Austin owner, Jon Guida, to broaden the brand’s presence in Austin, TX, from one studio to four in the coming years.
“It’s been great to see our growth in this market snowball along with the growth of our team,” added Corbin. “It’s because of our team’s belief in the MADabolic system and their dedication to helping clients move well and see results that we’re able to continue to grow our presence in this market,” said Corbin.
The MADabolic 14th Street team will host a “Free Week of MADness” to introduce the neighborhood to the concept before their official grand opening. For class times, founding membership specials, and additional information about the studio, visit https://www.madabolic.com/location/14th-Street.
