MADabolic, the franchise leaders in strength and conditioning, is pleased to announce that a new agreement has been signed to bring another unit to Atlanta, Georgia, under owner/operator and 10-year NFL veteran, Jonotthan Harrison.

Jonotthan enters MADabolic ownership with a steep athletic resume rooted in leadership and teamwork. Jonotthan’s elite athletic and academic tenure took off at the University of Florida, where he attended under a dual athletic and academic scholarship, which would ultimately launch him into a decade with the National Football League as a high performing center. After spending 10 cumulative years between the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and hometown team Miami Dolphins, Jonotthan started embarking on his post career journey into the fitness industry.

“My football career really amplified my interest in fitness,” Jonotthan notes. “I interned as a strength coach at the University of Florida, and when I landed in the NFL, I always spent extra time in the weight room and constantly picked the brains of all of my respected strength coaches. I knew I’d want to stay in fitness beyond my NFL career.”

In 2023, after a stint with the Atlanta Falcons, he decided to make Georgia his permanent residence and pursue his passion for fitness. “I’ve always had the dream of owning a gym,” Jonotthan adds. “As a trainer, I feel stifled at times… I want more out of the industry, but I wasn’t sure where to start or how to build it most effectively.”

Enter: MADabolic. After encountering the brand through its partnership with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), his interest was immediately piqued. “The entire MADabolic system impressed me…the onboarding process that would take me from signing the franchise agreement all the way to opening. As a new entrepreneur, seeing that there’s a blueprint in place tells me success is right around the corner.”

Once Jonotthan familiarized himself with the workouts, program design, and met the team behind the MADabolic brand, it sealed the deal. “While the workouts can suit everyone, MADabolic was created by athletes with former athletes in mind,” he details. “The movements, philosophies, and culture deeply resonate with me.”

“We are very excited to offer the bustling Atlanta market another MADabolic training facility under Jonotthan’s leadership,” says Chief Development Officer, Al Mendoza. “Our playbooks and corporate team are perfectly aligned to nurture his dream of gym ownership and overall tenacity as he grows and strikes success as a MADabolic owner.”
